Do try to visit our historic castle, wool church and museums. Winchcombe offers many welcoming restaurants, pubs and shops. The stunning Cotswold countryside starts at the town boundary and only 2 minutes walk away from the house.

The GWR steam railway provides a fascinating glimpse of the past. Winchcombe railway station is less than 2 miles from Isbourne Manor House. The GWR Headquarters are at Toddington - only 4 miles from Winchcombe.

Winchcombe Pottery is famous for its beautiful productsPilgrims would have visited Hailes Abbey whose attractive ruins (English Heritage) are an easy 2 mile walk along the Cotswold Way.

Local attractions include walks to - the ancient Long Barrow at Bela's Knapp, Cromwell's Seat and St Kenelm's Well. There are museums and the Roman mosaics at Spoonley Wood mentioned by Bill Bryson in his famous book: "Note from a Small Island". The mosaic floor can be viewed and photographed.
